Killing Time...

Unfortunately due to some supplier set backs, I have not yet been able to tackle the big start that I had hoped for. Instead, I have carried on with my practice models. you will be able to see from the pictures that I have shown some of the technique in painting some of the detail. After a bit of a play with some of the colour schemes in mind, I settled on this simple yet effective one.
                                         Starting from the build.
Against the grain it would seem, a Chaos Black undercoat.
Ash Grey (Army Painter Set) undercoat for my lighter bits.
Using some watered down Skeleton Bone (a few applications) lightly paint in the cloth and dragon skull details.
Add a soft tone wash to all cloth and light detail. Be careful not to let it pool or leave bubbles!
Highlight raised areas by mixing in some Matt White 50/50 and dry brushing the raised areas.
Finish off the little bits here and there, this being the finished product.

Again, apologies if these pictures are not great, I will upload these pictures on my Facebook page as well (https://www.facebook.com/Kit-Splicer).

I hope you are all surviving!

Best wishes,

Matt
